Delhi police arrest man from airport for carrying fake passport
New Delhi, Jul 12 (IBNS): The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested a man from the city's airport on Wednesday for carrying a fake passport, media reports said.
The detainee has been identified as Shahajahan Kandi, a native of Kerala.
Kandi was deported from Turkey, after authorities there ascertained his passport to be fake.
He also spent a brief time in Syria before travelling to Turkey.
The police said that they have started an investigation and want to ascertain if the detainee has any ISIS link.
