Delhi court convicts five for 2014 gang-rape of Danish woman

New Delhi, June 6 (IBNS) : A Delhi court on Monday convicted five persons for gang-raping a Danish woman in 2014, reports said.

The court fixed June 9 for hearing arguments on the amount of sentence.

Additional Sessions Judge Ramesh Kumar convicted the five under the sections of  376 (D) (gang rape), 395 (dacoity), 366 (kidnapping), 342 (wrongful confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) of IPC.

The victim was 52-year-old when at the time of the crime against her. 

The convicts are : Mahendra alias Ganja (27), Mohd Raja (23), Raju (24), Arjun (22) and Raju Chakka (23).
