Days of TMC government's rule in West Bengal are numbered: Yogi Adityanath

| @indiablooms | Feb 03, 2019, at 06:01 pm

Lucknow, Feb 3 (IBNS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday attacked the Trinamool Congress-led West Bengal government after his chopper was not allowed to land in the state and said the days of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's rule are 'numbered'.

"This government is scared about BJP...The TMC government did not allow me to come and meet you all. This is the reason behind my decision to resort to Digital India of Modi-ji to address you," he said.

Attacking the Trinamool Congress-led state government, Yogi said: "This TMC government is anti-people, anti-democratic."

He even alleged that the TMC government in the state "tried to stop Durga Puja" in West Bengal in order to pursue its appeasement policy.

"In Bengal, BJP will form the government in the coming days," he said.

WB Govt denies permission for Yogi Adityanath's chopper landing in state

The West Bengal government on Sunday denied permission to Yogi Adityanath to land his chopper in the state.

Adityanath was scheduled to address two rallies in north Bengal-one at Raiganj and Balurghat.

The UP CM's office stated that the permission was denied without any prior notice.

The Mamata Banerjee government had earlier denied permission to BJP President Amit Shah for his chopper to land in Malda district of West Bengal.

The Malda district administration had stated that due to construction work, it was not possible to land VVIP choppers in that area last week.
