Court gives life time imprisonment to Rajib Das's killers

Kolkata, Feb 13 (IBNS): First Additional District Judge of Barasat District and Sessions Court Prabir Kumar Mishra has given life time imprisonment under IPC sections 302 and 354 to the three killers of Rajib Das- Biswanath Chatterjee, Mithun Das and Monojit Biswas-on Friday.

This court already convicted the trio earlier on Thursday and the judgment was awaited.

Rajib Das protested against his sister Rinku Das's molestation by some eve teasers at Kachari Maidan area in Barasat in North 24-Parganas district on Feb 14 in 2011. The anti-socials killed Rajib.

Rajib's family said that they were very happy after this judgement.
