Congress will not tolerate nuisances created by Subramanian Swamy: Rajesh Lilothia

| @indiablooms | Jul 07, 2019, at 06:44 pm

New Delhi, Jul 7 (UNI) The Congress workers on Sunday protested against Subramanian Swamy for making what they called baseless, false remarks and using the unparliamentary language against their party leader Rahul Gandhi.

Under the leadership of working president, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) Rajesh Lilothia, party workers protested against Mr Swamy holding placards with slogans such as 'Subramanian Swamy Mafi Maango'. They also burnt the effigy of Swamy.

Addressing the gathering, Lilothia said Swamy has been using the 'unparliamentary' language against Mr Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, which shows that Mr Swamy has lost his 'mental balance'.

Lilothia demanded that Swamy should publicly tender an unconditional apology to Gandhi and should refrain from making such statements in future.
He called upon party workers to fight against the 'divisive' politics of RSS and BJP.

''Congress will fight against the 'anti-national policies' of BJP and we are committed to root out the ideology which divide the people on the basis of caste, creeds and religion,'' he added.
