Congress urges people to pray for Goa CM, his family

Panaji, Feb 24 (UNI): The Congress in Goa on Sunday asked people to pray for Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and his family and not to mock his health.

In a tweet, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) chief spokesperson Sunil Kawathankar said: ''We shud pray for @manoharparrikar and his family.We definitely had & will have strong Ideological & Policy differences with him,but mocking his health & cursing him does not make us a bettr human being,Thus a request to al who are doing so to pls refrain urslf frm doing it.''

The critically ill chief minister Manohar Parrikar has been admitted to Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital at Bambolim near the city.

Parrikar had been discharging his official duties despite his health condition.
