Congress leader Nirbed Roy joins TMC

Kolkata, Apr 10 (IBNS): West Bengal Pradesh Congress leader Nirbed Roy joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Friday.

His wife Mala Roy also joined TMC from Congress last month and she is participating in upcoming Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) election from ward number 88.

In a public meeting of TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee at Burabazar Satyanarayan Park area in Kolkata, Nirbed Roy joined the party officially on Friday.
