Rajahmundry, Nov 14 (IBNS): A 10-year-old student of a private school in Andhra Pradesh was allegedly injured in his genitals by a teacher, media reports said. The boy had to get stitches after the incident.

The victim was a class five student of the school in Rajahmundry in East Godavari district.

The accused math teacher man said that the child was running and was about to fall. He caught him and the boy got hurt accidentally. “Believe me I did not do it deliberately,'' said the teacher.

Local television footage also showed that the boy was seen with blood on his pants, reports said.

The boy, however, said: “We were coming down and a boy pushed me. Sir got angry and pinched me with his nail. By the time I came down, I was bleeding.”

The school reportedly gave a written apology to the boy’s parents. So far no police case has been filed against the teacher, sources said.
