Chit fund probe: CBI quizzes Trinamool MP Tapas Pal

Kolkata, Oct 7 (IBNS): The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) on Wednesday interrogated actor- turned- TMC Lok Sabha member Tapas Pal in connection with the ongoing probe into the Rose Valley and Saradha financial scams.

According to sources, after receiving call from the CBI, Tapas Pal came to the agency's  office at CGO Complex in Kolkata's Salt Lake area. The interrogation by CBI's special crime branch officials is underway till now.

"We are questioning Tapas Pal in connection with the  Rose Valley and Saradha probe. His statement will be recorded," a CBI official told IBNS.

CBI had raided the south Kolkata residence of Pal in March regarding his association with Rose Valley.
