“I seek the cooperation of all stakeholders such as voluntary consumer organizations, State Governments, consumer forums, and members of Consumer Coordination Council, to work together to empower the consumers of the country”, he urged.

Paswan said that the Government has proposed an authority to protect consumers against unfair trade practices which would also keep a close watch on various consumer services also.
