CBI busts fake passport racket in Puducherry

Puducherry, July 17 (UNI): With the arrest of three-member gang, who were working under a woman, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday busted a fake passport racket here on Wednesday.

According to sources, CBI received a complaint about the gang making fake passports and other documents and sending people to France from Puducherry.

Based on the complaint, they started a secret investigation and arrested the gang functioned under Stella, hailing from Karaikal region of the Union territory.

The others arrested were identified as Kumar and Pachayappan from Oulgret area here.

They were produced before a local court. The court sent them to judicial custody.
