CBI arrests CMD of Angel Agritech Ltd. in chit fund case

Kolkata, Aug 5 (IBNS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday booked a Kolkata-based chit fund's Chief Managing Director (CMD) from Delhi, sources said.

According to reports, CMD of Angel Agritech Limited (Angel Group of Companies), Sk. Hasibul Hoque, was held by the CBI in connection with a chit fund case.

He was produced in a local court in Delhi and brought to Kolkata on Saturday on a 4-day transit remand.

Showing fake schemes, Angel Agritech Limited allegedly collected over Rs. 1200 cr from the market.
