Cabinet Secretary's tenure extended
His tenure has been extended for six months from June 14 or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of tenure of Shri Ajit Kumar Seth, IAS(UP:74) as Cabinet Secretary, Government of India for a period of six months with effect from 14.06.2014 or till further orders, whichever is earlier," read a government statement on Monday.
