BSF jawan dies after falling from watch tower

Jammu, June 16 (IBNS) A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper lost his life after falling from a watch tower in Akhnoor area of Jammu district, officials said on Tuesday.

He has identified as constable G. Krishen of 89 BSF battalion.

“At 10:20 am, constable G. Krishen of 89 BSF battalion fell from the sentry tower while on night duty at unit headquarters in Akhnoor area of Jammu district," a senior police officer told IBNS.

"He was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment. But doctors declared him brought dead,” he said.
