Bride shot dead by ex-boyfriend in Bhopal

Bhopal, May 9 (IBNS) A bride was allegedly shot dead by her former boyfriend at her wedding venue in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh, said reports on Friday.
According to reports, Dr Jaishri Namdeo and her bridegroom were standing on the stage before the wedding at  Lalghati areaon Thursday when Anurag Singh shot her from point blank range.
 
Jaishri succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital.   

Singh was arrested. During interrogation, he reportedly told the police that Jaishri, a pediatrician by profession, cheated him and went on to marry a surgeon named Rohit Namdeo and hence he wanted to take punish her.
