The Indian nationals were identified as Pushpendu Ghosh and Vishwakant Ankit Reddy.
Swaraj tweeted: "The hostage crisis in Sydney is over. Vishwakant Ankit Reddy is safe. He is undergoing some medical check ups and will be back home safe."
"Another Indian hostage Shri Pushpendu Ghosh is also safe," she said about the other Indian hostage.
The Australian Police on Monday confirmed that the siege at the Lindt Cafe in Australia's Sydney city has ended.
According to reports, the police stormed into the cafe to free the hostage after it was under siege for more than 17 hours.
TV footage showed terrified hostages running out of the cafe with their hands up on the air as police stormed into the cafe.
Few hostages were seen rescued by police officials.
The NSW Police tweeted: "Sydney siege is over. More details to follow."
An Iranian man has been identified responsible for holding several people hostage in a Sydney cafe on Monday, media reports said.
He has been identified as Man Haron Monis.
The fate of the gunman, who was holding an unknown number of people as hostage, has not been identified so far.
