Both Houses of Parliament to be adjourned over Deora's demise

New Delhi, Nov 24 (IBNS): The Winter Session of Parliament which began on Monday will be adjourned following the death of sitting Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader Murli Deora, media reports said.

There will only be obituary references following which both Houses will be adjourned.

Earlier, Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP Kapil Krishna Thakur had died in October.

Sources said several key legislations, including the much delayed Insurance Bill, are scheduled to be taken up during the month-long session.

West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress is expected to find support from other parties in raising the issue of black money stashed in foreign banks.
