Bomb threat at Gurgaon metro station turns out to be a hoax, services resume

Gurgaon, Dec 17 (IBNS) Metro services at the yellow line was disrupted for nearly two hours following a bomb scare in Delhi Metro's HUDA City Centre station.

The information, which triggered panic, that bombs were  planted at three places in Gurgaon turned out to be given by a hoax caller.

Following the call, metro services on HUDA City Centre – Jahangirpuri Metro station route were disrupted.

According to reports, offices and market areas at two places in the city were also evacuated after the hoax caller informed that bombs planted at three places- HUDA city metro station, Bayopaar Kendra and Super Mart.

Metro services later resumed at around 5.56pm.
