Mumbai, Jan 7 (IBNS): The Bollywood fraternity on Wednesday expressed their shocks over BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj's remark where he asked Hindu women to give birth to four children.
Music composer Vishal Dadlani tweeted: "I finally get what BJP means by development. New developments in stupidity, everyday! In an overloaded nation."

Comedian Virr Das said: "Dear Sakshi Maharaj, as long as every Hindu woman has even one kid who laughs at your speech, I think we will be ok."

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt posted on his Twitter homepage: "#SakshiMaharaj wants all Hindu women to have at least four children. The good news, he hasn't specified the number of husbands."

Ex-CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures Tanuj Garg tweeted: "Sakshi Maharaj wants every Hindu woman to produce 4 children to save Hinduism. And we want him gagged to prevent our country from regressing."

Sakshi Maharaj has triggered a controversy by saying that Hindu women should give birth to four children.

Addressing a gathering on Tuesday, the BJP leader said: " We have accepted the slogan 'Hum do, hamare ek'. But these traitors are not satisfied with it. They have given another slogan 'Hum do aur hamara. They even advocated marriage of a girl to a girl and of a boy to another boy. This is what the last government did...Hence, I will  request women to give birth to at least four children."

"Give one of the children to sadhus. The media was telling me that there are ceasefire violations happening at the border. So, send another to the border," he said.
