Body of doctor from Karnataka who died in US all set to arrive in two days

Raichur, Karnataka, Mar 30 (UNI) The body of the city-based doctor who was found dead in a suspicious manner in New Jersey, USA, will reach India within two days, Raichur Superintendent of Police D Kishore Babu here on Saturday.

Talking to UNI, the officer said that according to the victim's family members the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is in contact with the Indian Embassy and the hospital authorities to complete formalities and send the body to India at the earliest.

Babu said that the cause of death of 28 year old doctor, who was doing his post graduation, was not yet to known and the police were contact with family members and providing all possible help.

The doctor, identified as Nandigam Manideep (28) from Sindhanur in this district had died in under mysterious circumstances on March 28 evening in the hospital campus at St. Peter’s University in New Jersey. The family members were informed about incident on the same night.

Manideep had completed MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, Karnataka, went to New Jersey to pursue three-year graduation course three years ago. Currently he was working at St Peter’s University Hospital.
