Blast in Ludhiana court, 2 die

Ludhiana/IBNS: At least two people have died in a blast which took place inside a court complex here in Punjab on Thursday, media reports said.

Four people have reportedly sustained injuries.

The blast took place inside a bathroom on the second storey at around 12:22 pm.

Fire tenders have rushed to the spot.

"No guilty shall be spared," said Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted, "Disturbing news of a blast at Ludhiana court complex. Saddened to know about the demise of 2 individuals, Praying for the recovery of those injured. @PunjabPoliceInd must get to the bottom of this."
