BJP will make last attempt to buy MLAs: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Oct 21 (IBNS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said the party is attempting to 'buy' MLAs to form the government in Delhi.

Kejriwal tweeted: "Sources say BJP will make last attempt to "buy" MLAs n form govt in del. Strange?BJP so scared of elctions in Del even after Maha n Haryana?"

The BJP registered victories in the recently held Assembly polls in Haryana and Maharashtra.

Ever since Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Delhi Chief Minister, the national capital has been under President's rule.

After remaining in power for 49 days, Kejriwal resigned as the Delhi Chief Minister as his minority AAP government-backed Jan Lokpal bill was not tabled in the Delhi Assembly on Feb 14.

The move has largely been seen as backfiring as the AAP lost much of its appeal with voters as the results of the Lok Sabha Election showed.
