BJP targets Nitish Kumar for 'indicating Kashmir as a separate nation' in Class VII question paper

Patna/UNI: The Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) alleged that under his Muslim appeasement optics for the sake of the vote bank, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was pursuing a sectarian and divisive agenda.

The sharp retort came after a question paper of Bihar Shiksha Pariyojna Parshad (BEP) for half yearly examination of Class 7th students in Kishanganj in which they were asked to reply what the people of countries like India, China, Nepal, and England were called and in the same sequence the students were also asked what they call the people of Kashmir.

National General Secretary of BJP OBC Morcha and Bihar BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand Wednesday alleged that since joining his hands with the RJD, Nitish Kumar openly and aggressively started pursuing the decisive agenda.

Seeking a reply to asking such questions showing Kashmir as a separate nation, Anand asked if the government of Bihar led by Nitish Kumar considers Kashmir "a separate nation outside India"?

"By promoting such education, the grand alliance government led by Nitish Kumar is promoting an anti-national and pro-Pakistan psyche," he alleged.

Terming it a horrible, shameful and shocking agenda of Nitish Kumar to promote the interest of the Islamic Fundamentalist group, the BJP leader alleged that JD(U), RJD and Congress were well known to play the politics of Muslim appeasement in the interest of their so-called secular votes.

He said that the BJP will give a befitting reply to these people of the grand alliance and won't tolerate such persuasion of religious fundamentalist and appeasement as well as anti-national agenda.

He said the NIA was conducting raids in different parts of Bihar to arrest anti-nationals and added that Nitish Kumar was keeping mum on the whole issue without taking any responsibility.
