BJP ignites anger in society: Rahul

Kasargod, Apr 5 (IBNS) Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ignites anger in society for political mileage.

Addressing an election rally at Kasargod district in Kerala, Gandhi said: "The BJP's main aim is to ignite anger in the society for their own, narrow political mileage. But we (Congress) try to reduce the anger and maintain harmony."

He also hit out at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and said: " Congress does not give people one 'chowkidar' (watchman), we make everyone a 'chowkidar'."

Earlier, Modi had called himself a soldier and said that even if the country elects him as a PM, he will work as a "chaukidar" of people's money.

"I will never let any Hand touch the coffers," he promised hinting at the Congress logo.
