Bihar: Two killed in road mishap

Chhapra, Apr 22 (UNI) Two people were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck under Isuapur police station area in Saran district late last night.

Police said here today that Sandeep Chauhan (10) and Ashish Prasad (22), natives of Vishnupura village were killed when their motorcycle was hit by the truck at Isuapur Bazar. Sources said that both were returning to their village after purchasing medicines when the mishap took place.

Police said that the truck turned turtle following the mishap even as its driver and cleaner surrendered before the police station concerned.

Local people blocked the main road following the mishap. Senior civil and police authorities were trying to persuade people to lift the road blockade.
