Bihar: Six killed, four injured in road accident in Lakhisarai

Lakhisarai/UNI: Six people were killed and four others were injured in a road accident on Tuesday under Halsi police station area in the District in the wee hours.

Police said here that a vehicle carrying some people collided with a truck loaded with a cooking gas cylinder near Pipra village on Sikandra- Sheikhpura Road.

Six people were killed and 4 others were injured in the incident, police added.

Those killed were identified as Amit Shekhar Singh, Ramchandra Singh, Laljeet Singh, Devi Singh, Daisy Kumari and Pritam Kumar, police said adding that 4 injured persons had been rushed to a local hospital in Sikandra.

All the bodies had been sent for postmortem, police further added.
