Bihar: Huge consignment of foreign liquor seized
Hajipur, Apr 15 (UNI) Police today seized huge consignment of foreign liquor from a truck and arrested a peddler at Mahua Bazar under Mahua police station area in Vaishali district.
Police said here that 480 cartons of foreign liquor were seized from the truck on the basis of specific intelligence input. Sources said the seized liquor was manufactured in Haryana.
Police said the value of seized liquor was around Rs 20 lakh, adding that a jeep was also seized from the spot. A peddler was arrested from the struck.
