Bihar: Boy hires shooter to kill father as he would ask him to focus on study!

Patna, Feb 6 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): A boy in Bihar hired a contract killer to kill his retired father only because he would often admonish him for not giving proper attention to his study. Sounds weird but that remains a fact!

The police have arrested the killer son along with the contract killer and sent them to jail.

The entire story came to light after the Patna police investigating the murder of a high court lawyer arrested a gangster in the weekend.

During interrogation, he confessed to his involvement in the murder of the lawyer and also killing a retired civil surgeon. He added the contract for this man’s killing was given by none other than his own son.

Based on information provided by the shooter, the police later arrested the youth identified as Nikhil Kumar from Muzaffarpur town.

“He (son) told us his father would always ask him to focus on study and so he decided to remove him from his way,” a senior local police official Niraj Kumar told the media on Tuesday.

According to the youth, he had given Rs15,000 as advance to the contract killer and had himself carried the shooter on his bike to the place where his father was to be killed while he had gone for a morning walk in the Kumhrar locality of Patna, capital city of Bihar.

The victim Dr Chandrashekhar Prasad had retired as a civil surgeon barely some weeks before he was killed. He was killed in November last year.  According to the youth, the conspiracy to kill his father was hatched at a tea stall.
