Bihar: 10 CRPF commandos killed in IED blast

Patna, July 19 (IBNS): In a Naxal triggered IED blast at least 10 CRPF commandos belonging to the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA) battalion were killed in Bihar on Monday, reports said.

“At least 10 CRPF commandos were killed and three of them were injured in the encounter… a massive manhunt has be been launched by the paramilitary and State police forces in the area to nab the naxals”,  Sunil Kumar, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarter) told The Hindu.

The incident occurred at the Chakarbanda-Dumarinala forest area in Aurangabad district.

According to reports, four Naxals were killed during the encounter with security forces later.
