Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee appears before CBI

Kolkata:West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee appeared before the CBI at Nizam Palace at 5.45 PM on Wednesday.

The division of Calcutta High court did not pass any order on the single bench directive to the minister to depose before the federal agency by 6 PM in the alleged recruitment scam in the government-aided schools across the state.

Former education minister Chatterjee ( now IT and Industries minister) had approached the division bench of Justice Harish Tandon.

The division bench said the matter (case) was not filed properly by the applicant (Partha Chatterjee) and asked him to appear before the CBI by 6 pm as per the single bench order.
