Bangalore: City police arrested at criminal after firing at his leg

Bengaluru, Apr 29 (UNI) The City police have arrested one person, wanted in a multiple cases, after firing him in the leg when he tried to flee before attacking the police who tried to nab him in the city on Monday, in the city this morning.

According to police, the police had to shoot at Manroor Khan, wanted in multiple cases, and arrested after the former tried to attack the police personnel, with dangerous weapons.

The injured Khan was admitted to the state-run Victoria hospital. He is a resident of a village in Bishwanath district in Odisha.

One of the police party, who had sustained injuries in the incident, also admitted to the hospital and is recovering, the sources added.
