Kolkata/Asansol, Jun 15 (IBNS): Union Minister Babul Supriyo has said that he will invite West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to his wedding reception in New Delhi on Aug 9.
Though they are political rivals yet Surpiyo said he will personally invite the TMC supremo to his wedding.

The BJP leader from Asansol will be tying knot to Jet Airways air-hostess Rachna Sharma.

On being asked about what he would like as a wedding gift from Banerjee, Supriyo replied, as quoted by The Times of India, that he would want the Bengal CM to declare Asansol as a 'district'.

After about 20 hours of this, in a meeting in Jhargram, Mamata reiterated her decision to turn Asansol and Jhargram into districts.

When Supriyo was asked about the announcement, he said this was his marriage gift.
