Assam: Two hardcore NDFB(S) ultras nabbed

Guwahati, July 19 (IBNS): Two hardcore militants of NDFB(S) were apprehended by security forces in Assam’s Chirang district on Saturday, officials said on Sunday.

BTAD IGP Dr LR Bisnoi said that based on specific intelligence the army launched a joint operation with the Assam Police in Chhota Nilbari area in Chirang district and nabbed two NDFB(S) terrorists.

The nabbed ultras were identified as Sanjoy Daimary and Niron Narzary.

One hand grenade and two Motorola radio sets were recovered from the terrorists.
