Assam EC declares Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council's election date
Guwahati/IBNS: The Assam State Election Commission on Thursday announced the date of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council election.
Election to 26 constituencies of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council will be held on June 8 and the counting of votes to be held on June 12.
Over 7 lakh voters will exercise their franchise in 906 polling stations.
On the other hand, a by-election to Koklabari constituency of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) will also be held on June 8.
