New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called two meetings on Friday with the expert committee and the preparation committee to discuss preparations for possible third wave of COVID-19.

While the meeting with the expert committee was scheduled for 1100 hrs, the CM will meet the preparation committee at 1530 hrs, Chief Minister's Office of Delhi said in a tweet.

On Thursday, Delhi registered 487 cases of COVID-19 and 45 deaths from the virus, as per the health bulletin. It said the positivity rate in the National Capital has further come down to 0.61 per cent while the fatality rate stands at 1.71 per cent.

The COVID-19-induced lockdown, enforced from April 19, was relaxed on Monday for construction work and operation of factories.
