New Delhi, Nov 10 (IBNS): Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley assumed additional charge as Minister for Information & Broadcasting (I&B) on Monday.

Interacting with the media, Jaitley said that the paradigms of information had expanded with the steady growth of electronic, print and digital media in the country.

Currently, the media landscape had seen unprecedented growth within the radio and new media streams.

Newly inducted Minister of State (MoS) for Information and Broadcasting, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also assumed charge on Monday.

In his interaction with the media, Rathore said that he would strive to fulfil the responsibilities given to him.
