Arson attack on German newspaper for reprinting Charlie Hebdo cartoons

| | Jan 11, 2015, at 07:17 pm
Berlin, Jan 11 (IBNS): After the Charlie Hebdo massacre, an arson attack took place on Sunday on a German newspaper in the northern port city of Hamburg that reprinted Prophet Mohammed cartoons from the French satirical paper, reports said.
No one was hurt in the incident.

Two rooms on lower floors were reportedly damaged.

However, the fire was put out quickly.

This comes after the regional tabloid daily, the Hamburger Morgenpost, had published three Charlie Hebdo cartoons on its front page.

France witnessed a dark day in its history on Jan 7 with gunmen attacking the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and killing at least 12 people , including cartoonists and two policemen, as global leaders joined to condemn the incident.
