Another CRPF jawan succumbs, toll rises to three in Srinagar attack

Srinagar/UNI: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, who was critically wounded in a militant attack in Srinagar outskirts on March 26 afternoon, succumbed to his injuries.

Two CRPF personnel were killed and two others were injured in the attack at Lawapora on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway.

One of the injured admitted at S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) identified as Jagannath Rai succumbed on Monday.

Police have arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants who carried out the attack on the CRPF party.

A car used for the crime has also been seized and a massive hunt continued to arrest LeT militants, including a Pakistani.
