New Delhi, July 31 (IBNS): Another Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA has been arrested by the police taking the number of party leaders detained to 12.

According to reports, Sharad Chauhan, a lawmaker from Narela, was on Saturday night arrested in connection with the suicide case of a party worker Soni.

Soni had committed suicide on July 19, blaming a fellow party worker Ramesh Bhardwaj that she was urged by him to "make compromises with her body" to "rise in the party".

She had also alleged that Bhardwaj was being protected by a local MLA.

Following the arrest, the party has once again targetted Narendra Modi and said the Prime Minister has lost his mental balance.

"Another AAP MLA arrested.Has Modi gone mad?Has he lost his mental balance? If PM acts with such anger/vengeance then is country safe!," AAP's Ashutosh tweeted.
