Anjan Dutta appointed as Congress' Assam unit chief
Guwahati, Dec 13 (IBNS): The Congress on Saturday appointed Anjan Dutta as the party's Assam chief.
The appointment was made by Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi.
He replaced Bhubaneshwar Kalita.
"Smt. Sonia Gandhi has appointed Shri Anjan Dutta as President of @AssamPCC in place of Shri Bhubaneshwar Kalita with immediate effect," the party tweeted.
