All parties use Muslims for votes: Asaduddin Owaisi

| @indiablooms | Jan 07, 2022, at 10:26 pm

Lucknow/UNI: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday accused all political parties including the BSP, Congress and Samajwadi Party of using Muslims as a vote bank and then cheating them.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, which now rules Uttar Pradesh, has not fulfilled any of its promises made in 2017 and alleged that election manifestos were only a meant to cheat voters.

"Madrasa teachers are not getting salary and they did not get salary for the past two years. The Central and state governments are not paying salaries," he told the media here.

Owaisi said minorities were being used only for votes. "Injustice have been done to the Muslims of UP."

He said Muslims account for around 19 per cent of the population in Uttar Pradesh and said all political parties including the SP, Congress and BSP have used the community as vote bank.
