New Delhi, Jun 1 (IBNS): After Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Meghalaya, the Congress-led government in the state has sent a three-page SOS to party President Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul, stating that the BJP's campaign in Shillong is "worrying", media reports said.
The letter was written on Monday, two days after Modi's visit to Shillong to mark two years of his government.

"The BJP is camping in Shillong and are in connivance with two cabinet ministers," the Congress note available with media stated.

The Congress have been recently routed by the results in the assembly polls of five states.

The Congress has 30 seats in the 60-member Meghalaya assembly. It also has the support of the Nationalist Congress Party's two lawmakers and 11 independents.
