After Kejriwal, AAP's Bhagwant Mann makes donation to Irom Sharmila's party

New Delhi, Feb 19 (IBNS): A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal donated Rs 50,000 to rights activist Irom Sharmila's party in Manipur ahead of the state elections, his party leader in Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, followed the suit.

He has contributed a month's salary to support Sharmila's party.

"As a member of parliament m donating my one month salary to Irom Sharmila who is fighting against corrupt system n injustice in Manipur...," Mann tweeted.

Earlier, Kejriwal donating Rs 50,000 to support her newly formed party in the upcoming elections.

"I am donating Rs 50,000 as my small contribution to her and appeal to everyone to support her," the Delhi CM wrote in a tweet.

Sharmila filed her nominations on behalf of her newly formed People's Resurgence and Justice Alliance (PRJA) for Thoubal.

Sharmila led PRJA is making an electoral debut in the trouble torn Manipur.

Manipur is going to hold the assembly polls on March 4 and 8.
