Aerial strikes on JeM camp: Laxman lauds IAF

Hyderabad, Feb 26 (UNI) Telangana BJP unit President Dr K Laxman has welcomed the action after a Jaish-e-Mohamad (JeM) terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan, was destroyed in Indian Air Force (IAF) air strikes early on Tuesday morning.
 

According to reports,1,000 kg bombs were dropped on jaish bases across the Line of Control (LoC) by multiple jets, including IAF’s Mirrage 2000.

Talking to media on the sidelines of a programme here, Dr Laxman said that it is not a revenge against Pakistan on Pulwama incident where 40 CRPF jawan were killed and several injured. “The attacks is only for self defence and protection of country’s sovereignty.

" Such attacks to continue if Pulwama like incidents will be occurred in future, the BJP leader warned and said that Pakistan should realize and take necessary steps to control terrorist activities.
