Administrator of Union Territory of Lakshadweep appointed

New Delhi, Aug 17 (IBNS): Farooq Khan, IPS (Retd.) has been appointed as Administrator of Union Territory of Lakshadweep.

"His appointment is effective from the date he assumes charge of his office," read a government statement.
