Acid attack on woman in Bhopal

Bhopal, Jun 18 (IBNS): A woman sustained grievous injuries after two men allegedly threw acid at her on Saturday in Bhopal, media reported.

The motorcycle-borne attackers fled from the scene immediately. Local sources reported that the men were wearing masks.
 

The victim, a teacher in a local polytechnic, according to some sources has been admitted to Bhopal's Narmada Hospital with severe burn injuries.
 
Police have started an inquiry. Further details awaited.
