AAP's 49-day government was a nightmare:Jaitley

New Delhi, Feb 6 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday attacked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and said the party's 49-day rule in Delhi was a 'nightmare'.

"AAP's 49-day government was a nightmare," Jaitley told reporters.

He said the party is more comfortable on the streets than in the offices.

"They always talk of honesty in politics but they are caught red-handed distributing liquor and diverting funds," Jaitley said.

He said the country is not speaking about scams since the BJP came to power at the Centre last year.

Attacking the Congress, he said: "Dilution of the Congress is the political price they are paying for what they did to Delhi and the nation."

Jaitley made the remarks a day before Delhi will vote to elect a new Assembly.
