7.4 earthquake hits New Zealand
Christchurch, Nov 13 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter Scale hit New Zealand on Sunday, as per the USGS website.
As per the website, the earthquake hit 53km North-East of Amberley.
The earthquake hit the area at 1102 GMT.
The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 42.779 degrees South and longitude 173.129 degrees East.
