5.5 magnitude earthquake hits Manipur

Imphal/UNI: A tremor measuring about 5.5 magnitudes on the Richter Scale was felt in Manipur and neighbouring states on Monday around 8.17 pm.

It lasted a few seconds and there was no report of any damage.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the epicentre was about 15 km W of Moirang, Manipur, India.

The depth was about 60 km according to USGS.
