Whatsapp may soon roll out feature that will prevent users from taking snapshots of profile pictures

Popular messaging service WhatsApp is working on a feature which will prevent people from taking screenshots of profile pictures of iOS.

WABetaInfo website said: "WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 24.10.10.70."

"What’s new in this update? WhatsApp is working on a feature to block screenshots of profile photos, and it will be available in a future update!" the website said.

The social media platform said the feature is currently under development.

WABetaInfo also reported that the message sharing platform has redesigned the drawing editor and it is available to some beta testers.
